As business people need fast network connection they offer wireless a/b/g/n, Bluetooth Technology and WWAN using Sprint Mobile Broadband service Option (BX740 selected models), Gigabit Ethernet, and a 56k modem.

The main difference between VAIO BX740 and BX760 is their displays. The VAIO BX740 comes with 14.1-inch XGA LCD XBRITE-ECO technology with 1024×768 or 1400×1050 resolution and 4:3 display ratio, while the VAIO BX760 has 15.4" WXGA XBRITE-HiColor Technology with 1280×800-pixel resolution.
Both feature 3 USB ports, VGA outputs, and a port replicator connector, PCMCIA slots, Memory Stick Media slots, Secure Digital slots, built-in 1.3 megapixel camera and built-in microphone.
Both cater good security utilities too. They have fingerprint reader and TPM version 1.2.
Both are powered by powerful components to bring out standing performance. They incorporate the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors, ranging from T7100 at 1.8GHz to T7700 at 2.4GHz; up to 2GB DDR2 533MHz memory; 60- 200 GB hard drive; DVD burner and Intel GM965 chipset paired with integrated Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 or PM965 chipset with ATI Mobility Radeon HD2300 dedicated graphics card.
Well they are not cheap as you know that Sony VAIO notebooks are often expensive. Their basic prices start at $1199.99 up to $2,418 for BX740 models, and from $1,149.99 up to $2,169.99 for BX760 models.
