Acer Aspire 3680 Series with Linux OS in India Only $400


Acer India has announced that Aspire 3680 Series are available in Indian market from now. His $400 (Rs. 19,999) laptop is best chance for students and even ordinary people who need laptops to buy it. The sale will only be available until 25th June 07. It runs Linux OS. The good part is that it is a full laptop and even its wireless network works well. It comes with enough USB ports. The only problem is its RAM the 256MB is not enough and you have to spend some more money for its RAM.

Additionally, It has got Built- in camera. There is no information about the battery life.

The specs of this so cheap laptop is:

Just that It doesn't have a camera. However I don't miss it, but love this laptop, a really affordable laptop. ** Also for 700 to 1000 bucks more you have the CeleronM 440 with 512 MB RAM upgrade (if you do search/digg around a bit - atleast in bangalore). ** And with a new Linux distro you can get all its functionality/peripherals up and running.

does it run wifi with linux thats the question review does not say that wifi works with linux or not ??
