Asus New Eee PC Series: 7" Ultra Slim Laptop with Linux OS and Flash memory

Asus today announced its new laptop series called “Eee PC Series” for business use. It is interesting that this ultra Mobile PC has two interesting highlights:

- It can run Linux OS
- It has got 4GB, 8GB, or 16GB Flash drive option.


Except these two impressive features, it has got other typical features like Ethernet LAN, an 802.11b/g wireless, and a 56K modem, built-in camera, Ethernet LAN, an 802.11b/g wireless, and a 56K modem.

Asus Eee 701(Easy to learn, work, play - Excellent Internet experience - Excellent mobile computing experience) is one model of this line-up and weighs 1.96 lbs. So, compare to other UMPCs like NanoBook or 7" Samsung Q1 it is not light.
