Sony VAIO C Type Notebooks: VGN-CR60B/P Luxury Pink Laptop Coming in Japan

Sony introduced new series of 14.1"VAIO CR to replace 13.3" VAIO C. Sony Still sells VAIO C for personal use but with the note PC of “VAIO type C.

Sony is going to launch a luxury pink VAIO type C (VGN-CR60B/P) laptop for women on September 8^th with open price in Japan.

This system provides 14.1" WXGA 1280×800-pixel display (opposite of VAIO C series that had 13.3" display)

This pink laptop is powered by Intel Celeron 530 (1.73GHz) processor, Intel GL960 Express (video functional built-in), memory 1GB (maximum 2GB), 120GB Hard drive and ±R DL correspondence DVD super multiple optical drive.

Regarding Ports and Slots, it features 3 USB ports, 1 IEEE 1394; mini- D-Sub15 pin and voice input/output; ExpressCard/34 slot, the memory stick (PRO)/the memory stick duo (the PRO duo) the corresponding slot and the SD card /MMC corresponding slot,

Although this laptop is not so powerful (it doesn’t come with fast clocking CPU) but it is very comfortable to connect to internet. It caters the IEEE 802.11b/g wireless LAN, Ethernet, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR for connecting to your wireless peripherals, and modem.

It has 1,310,000-pixel web camera for video conference. Also, you will have a carrying case of with the same pink color of laptop. It has got 3 hours battery life. It will run on Vista Home Premium. Also, there will be Office Personal 2007 is preinstalled

The price will be approximately160, 000 Yen.

If you like the price and specification but you are interested of pink color you have this laptop with pure white color too. Pure white VGN-CR50B/W laptop has exactly the same feature of luxury pink laptop but comes without the carrying case will cost 155,000 Yen.

But Sony is going to update other colors of new up coming VAIO type C in September, as well.

The indigo blue (blue) laptop, red laptop, and pure white (white) laptop will incorporate CPU Core 2 Duo T7250 (2GHz), in chip set AMD ATI Mobility Radeon X2300 and memory 1GB (maximum 4GB), HDD approximately 160GB and ±R DL correspondence DVD super multiple drive. All will be loaded in Intel PM965 Express means they are based on Intel Santa Rosa platform.
