This year from April, the market of Low-Cost laptops will face many new various low-cost laptops from different vendors with different prices and features. So, I think that having a list of these laptops can help the consumers who want to have one of these portable laptops as their secondary system.
Here is a list of the low-cost laptops that have come or will come to the market so far:
2- Medion Akoya mini laptop: 10" laptop for 399 EUR or $638 with Atom processor 1GB of RAM standard, an HDD hard drive, two USB ports (one less than Eee PC 900), a SD memory card slot but Eee PC 900 comes with SD / MMC (SDHC Support)), VGA out, Wi-Fi and a 1.3 megapixel webcam.
4-Acer low-cost laptops (the 8.9-inch Aspire and 12.1-inch Slim Gemstone Aspire pricing for $300-$450)
5-MSI Wind PC with Diamondville ( starting from $ 400 USD) Wind PC coming to the U.S. Market incorporates bigger display of 10-inches featuring LED backlight, Atom Processor at 1.6GHz, 1GB of RAM, 80GB HDD, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and very attractive starting price of $400. Wind PC will be available with 8.9-inches display ,as well.
6- Eee PC 900 ($550) With Multi-finger trackpad and 8.9-inches display.
7- Eee PC 901: 5.9-in Eee PC 901 901 is a new model from the second-generation Eee PC family that comes with Atom processor, probably with the same 1.6GHz clock speed that is used in wind PC.upcoming 8.9-in Eee PC 901 is merely coming with Bluetooth and it will not provide WiMAX.

GigaByte M912 will be released at the beginning of June while sporting Intel Atom processor and 8.9" displauy. So, Gigabyte has targeted Eee PC 900 in the market.The source has mentioned that this mini laptop will have Bluetooth too. This laptop will run either Linux or Windows XP OS.
