Dell to Release Vostro 1310, 1510 and 1710 Laptops; See the Specs

Dell today announced that it is going to launch the new models of Vostro family- budget small business laptops in May. The new models include Vostro 1310, 1510 and 1710 Laptops. You can sere some of the specs of Vostro 1310 and Vostro 1510 in the following.

13.3" Dell Vostro 1310, 15.4" Dell Vostro 1510 laptops are Available now in Europe and the Middle-East and Africa. Also these two laptops will come to North America and South America from May 1^st and to Asia Pacific and Japan from May 5^th.
17" Dell Vostro 1710 Laptop will be available later in May.

-13.3" Dell Vostro 1310 is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo or Celeron processor and its price starts from $749. The weight of Vostro 1310 is 20% less than Vostro 1400. it weighs just 4.6lbs.

It provides 13.3" widescreen display with optional Truelife technology, optional 1.3 webcam, and full size sealed keyboard and multimedia control and Wireless-N.

It features 4 USB ports, FireWire, a slot-load optical drive, security cable lock and fingerprint reader, and headphone and Microphone jacks, Express card slot and Wi-Fi on/off switch and 8-in-1 Card reader. Unfortunately this laptop lack S-Video port and HDMI port.

-Dell Vostro 1510 which is thinner and lighter than the Vostro 1500 is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo or Celeron processors and Up to 4GB memory.

It provides 15.4" widescreen display with optional Truelife technology, optional 1.3 webcam, and full size sealed keyboard and multimedia control and optional Wireless-N.

It features 2USB ports, FireWire, a slot-load optical drive, security cable lock, and headphone and Microphone jacks, Express card slot and Wi-Fi on/off switch and 8-in-1 Card reader.

Its price starts from $599. It weighs 5.7 lbs

-17" Dell Vostro 1710 is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo or Celeron processors and its price is not clear yet.

The new Dell Vostro laptops are less rugged but with different design (for example squarer and less rounded than before) from Inspiron laptops they are lighter and thinner form than the previous models. They coat a glossy finish lid with a metal flake affect. It is really attractive but the only problem is your finger trace will stay on laptop immediately.

Also, they come with touch sensitive button controls with backlit blue LED lighting and a slot loading optical drive.
