Nvidia GeForce 9M series 40 percent Faster than the 8M Series; to Come out Q3 2008

Few days ago Nvidia made Official its new 8 discrete graphics card from its latest 9M series GPUs for laptops. These new Graphics card that will be released in Q3 2008 include GeForce 9650M GT, 9600M GT, 9600M GS, 9500M G, 9400M G, 9300M GS, 9200M GS, and 9100M G. You will be able to find these graphics in over one hundred new laptops from the beginning of this summer.

The common features of all these graphics (9M series) include:

- Their performance is 40 percent faster than the graphics from 8M series (Previous line up or current line up)

- Multi-display connectivity with support for DVI, HDMI 1.3, Display Port 1.1, and VGA

- They come with new PureVideo HD video processing to improve the contrast

- Supporting Blu-ray Profile 2.0 featuring and Blu-ray Live

- Supporting the new MXM version 3.0

- Supporting NVIDIA’s new Hybrid SLI technology, and its included HybridPower support

The first graphics models above means GeForce 9650M GT, 9600M GT, 9600M GS, 9500M G have been made for professional gamers. Also they are suitable for multimedia users, and those that need HD video support. Among these four, 9650M GT and 9600M GS both are able to support SLI.


The Second four graphics card means 9400M G, 9300M GS, 9200M GS, and 9100M G
are lower card and come with GeForce Boost Technology. “he mGPU and dGPU to work together so that users can gain as much performance as they can during instances like ripping HD video or playing games” according to Laptop Magazine.

Additionally, Beta drivers for PhysX support will be available in Q3 2008.
