Eee PC T91 Touchscreen Tablet Launched; T91 in Video

Eee PC T91 was introduced first at CES in January and after 5 months Asus launched this tablet netbook at Computex this week.

Eee PC T91 Tablet sports an 8.9" swivelable touchscreen with 1024 x 600 resolution and a suite of touch-optimized software that enables users to get the most out of finger or stylus input.

The tablet is powered by a low-end 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 CPU, 1GB of RAM, and a 16GB SSD. It features 802.11b/g/n/ Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and optional TV tuner and GPS. The netbook comes in black and white and chiclet keyboard.

The Eee PC T91's software applications, collectively known as TouchSuite, allow users to perform a various tasks with their fingertips, such as touching up photos, creating photo albums, leaving handwritten desktop memos for loved ones, and sketching cartoons or custom emoticons.

Laptop magazine’s folks could evaluate briefly T91’s touch interface at computex and they were very impressed by that. Like Apple’s Cover flow the interface first launches a series of three panels. The user can launch the touch interface from Eee Dock icon on desktop or just press a button located on a bezel below the display. From the video and pictures it is clear that the screen is very glossy and has some light reflections. You can see a video f this netbook in Laptop magazine’s website. Also there was a video released by Asus that I had covered it in my previous entry.
