Just in time for summer, HP is offering stylish and affordable notebook PCs from the ultra-light HP Pavilion dv2z and the powerful HP Pavilion dv6t notebook PCs to students to enjoy the performance and design of HP notebook PCs.
The HP Pavilion dv2z starting at $599 is an affordable, thin and light notebook that is perfect for the student on the go. Less than 1-inch thin and starting at 3.81 pounds, it has a 12.1-inch diagonal mercury-free LED widescreen display and features HP MediaSmart software, which provides one-touch access to entertainment. The dv2z offers an AMD processor, a discrete graphics, high-capacity hard drive up to 500GB, optional Blu-ray disc support and a wide range of ports, with pricing that delivers unprecedented value to consumers for its class.

The 16-inch Intel-based HP Pavilion dv6t starting at $649 offers the latest digital entertainment features and mobile technologies. The 13.3-inch Intel-based HP Pavilion dv3t starting at $649 is a thin and light, entertainment laptop. At about 1.25-inches thick and just under 5 pounds, the dv3t features an up to 8GB memory, integrated optical drive and option for Blue Ray and optional discrete graphics, Wireless N, Bluetooth, up to 4 hours battery life and up to 7 hours with optional 9-cell battery and a full range of connectivity options.
