Best Buy will sell Nokia Booklet 3G for $300

On October 13, 2009, Nokia announced to sell its netbook, Nokia Booklet 3G, in the U.S. through its partner AT&T in the U.S. The netbook will become available in fifty Best Buy stores all over the U.S. The Nokia Booklet 3G will come with pre-installed Windows 7. Best Buy will start taking orders on October 22, 2009 and the netbooks will arrive at the stores by mid-November. PC Mag.com reports:

A two-year 3G contract with AT&T costs $60 a month, which doesn't really make $299 a very good deal, since the total cost ($299 + [$60 x 24 months]) with the data services will be $1,739. The average consumer might do better to purchase the unit for $599 and buy a wireless card or cellular modem.

The Nokia Booklet 3G is the first netbook produced by Nokia. In August 2009, Nokia announced that it will enter into the highly competitive netbook market with its Nokia Booklet 3G. The device is targeted towards professional who are always on the move and require a device that can fulfill their needs. In September, at the Nokia World Conference in Germany, Nokia gave out specs and price of Nokia Booklet 3G.Weighing at 2.76lbs, Nokia Booklet 3G comes with a 10 inch screen with 1280X720 pixels, Wi-F-, 3G connectivity, 1.6 GHz Atom processor, 1GB RAM and an impressive 12 hours battery back up.
