Windows 7 operating system, the latest OS from Microsoft, was officially launched in October 24 and since then laptop market has got a little boost. However, sales have not been increased as much as it was expected. Acer has revealed that its sales since the launch of Windows 7 have been increased, but it was not a huge boost. It might be disappointing because Windows 7 has overall got positive reviews from the users.
Well, the thing is that many companies would start giving their orders for new computers from the first quarter of 2010 as they are now examining Windows 7. So, a boost in laptop sales could come early next year. The biggest advantage of Windows 7 is that it does not have the problems that users faced with its predecessor
