NVIDIA has developed a new tablet called the Tegra Tablet. News of the tablet came out the in the beginning of November. The NVIDIA Tegra Tablet is powered by Windows CE. It has a resistive touchscreen measuring 15-16 inches. The device has been built by ICD. Recently, Engadget received a prototype of the device. It said:
the device on hand was quite literally rough around the edges, but what we saw was appetite-whetting. The overall construction is under an inch thin, 720p video playback was excellent, and there's even a terrific-looking wireless recharge station cum base accessory -- think of Palm's Touchstone, only enlarged and magnetized to the point where it can support the whole tablet in an upright position.
The Tegra, which has been developed by NVIDIA, is used in smartphones, PDAs, MIDs. For example, Microsoft’s Zune HD is running on Tegra. The Tegra tablet is now at its developing stage and NVIDIA is trying to make it more user friendly. The company is also looking forward to get into a contact with T-Mobile to market the product.
