Acer Aspire One 533 to Feature DDR3 Ram

Acer is planning to launch Aspire One 533 netbook with DDR3 memory. Currently none of the Acer netbooks support DDR3 RAM which is good for long battery life. DDR3 memory consumes less power, and thus, increasing the battery back up. So, it could be an added advantage for those who often need to work on the go.

The 10.1-inch netbook features Intel GMA 3150 graphics. Bluetooth 3.0 is also an option for the users. Acer Aspire One 533 features either Atom N455 1.66GHz or Atom N475 1.83GHz processor. Both the processors are from Intel’s new Atom series.

The biggest advantage of the netbook is its around 10-hour long back up thanks to the DDR3 memory. Acer has not yet revealed the launch date or price of the netbook.

I'm still not a massive fan of the whole netbook philosophy, i think there are laptops small and thin enough to act like a netbook, but with better processing power and a more stylish appearance

You can find plenty of Toshiba laptops with DDR3 and Intel i5-i7 processors suitable for gaming.
