Dell Looking Glass tablet PC reappears but no details

After releasing its 5-inch tablet PC, Streak, Dell is gearing up to launch another one and this time it will be a bigger one named Dell Looking Glass.

At the Oracle Open World, Dell founder and CEO, Michael Dell, showed off the tablet a little bit but he did not divulge too many details. He was holding the tablet in his hands and in the beginning, no one could notice what the object was but Oracle people got a glimpse of it. Here is a video clip of Michael Dell playing with the tablet:

The video reveals that the Dell Looking Glass will have a volume rocker located on the top of the device and headphone jack located on the left side.

In April 2010, specs of Dell Looking Glass first came up which said that the tablet PC would sport a 7-inch display with a resolution of 800X400 pixels. It will be powered by a Tegra 2 processor and would have 4GB memory and 4GB flash storage that can be further expanded up to 32 GB via an SDHC. The device will run on Android 2.1 OS. Other features include a 1.3 megapixel camera and AT&T U-verse browser. There will be an optional TV tuner module for users to watch ATSC or DVB-T programming.

Dell launched its 5-inch Dell Streak tablet PC in the U.K. in June and in the U.S. in August. In the U.S. it is sold by AT&T for $299 with a two-year contract and $599 without a contract. On September 22, 2010, Dell said that Streak would become also available through Best Buy.

April news reports said that the Dell Looking Glass is scheduled to hit the stores in November but Dell did not confirm it.
