It is believed that Microsoft is going to unveil Windows Phone 7 at a press conference in London on October 11, 2010. Though on that same day Microsoft is having “Open House” in New York, it will not show off its Windows Phone 7 in that event.
The press conference would start at 2PM London Time (9 AM ET in the U.S.) and would continue till 5:30 PM. The event will be covered by many tech-websites.
Different websites gave out different launch dates of Windows 7. According to some, the OS will be launched on October 21, 2010 while some are saying that it would be November 2, 2010.

Microsoft confirmed of holding an event on October 11, 2010 but did not say anything about introducing or launching Windows Phone 7.
Windows Phone7 received positive reviews from critics. One of the prominent features of the Windows Phone 7 is that it will be integrated with Microsoft’s Xbox Live gaming platform.
