Toshiba to Introduce Regza ISO4 Android Smartphone with 12 Megapixel Camera in Japan

According to KDDI and Okinawa Cellular Telephone Company, Toshiba is going to introduce three new Android-based smartphones in Japan in December this year. Though details of the three phones: Regza ISO4, Regza ISO5 and the SIRIUSα ISO6- are not yet available in the media, it has been reported that Regza ISO4 will sport a 12 megapixel camera.

The high megapixel camera would be perhaps the most attractive feature of Regza ISO4. The phone will also feature Android 2.1 Éclair operating system and a 4-inch full width VGA (FWVGA) touch screen. It will come with 1GHZ Snapdragon processor.

However, this is not the first time an Android phone is going to feature such a high megapixel camera. Altek Leo, another Android phone, featured 14 megapixel camera during this year’s CommunicAsia.

Reports also suggest that Toshiba Regza ISO4 will only be available in Japan as it would be produced targeting Japanese users. Other features of the phone seem to be pretty much attractive, but the 12mp camera will be the center of all attraction.

Though nothing regarding specification of the two other Android phones is available at the moment, it is expected that Toshiba would offer some eye-catching features with those two smartphones too.
