Google TV was launched with a lot of fanfare earlier this year but it has not been exactly a big success for the company until now. Part of the problem lies in the matter that traditional players in this industry have not welcomed Google TV until now and that is why it is not moving that much.

Black Friday 2010 did not bring a lot of success for Google TV either. So, it seems that the search engine giant might not have very good future in the television business.
Well, I think that it has a good potential in the long run because when I watch television then I often wish that it was possible for me to enjoy my favorite programs instead of the programs that my TV channels showing. Also, websites like YouTube are not available in television either. It is a great feeling to have the power of Internet in your television set. So, I think that more and more people will become fan of Google TV and thus, in the next 2-3 years, it will be a big business.
