Engedget has praised the technical specification of this laptop as this 11.6-inch notebook from gateway has i5 processor, Bluetooth 3.0 technology and many other features that are perhaps a lot for a 11.6-inch laptop. A few years ago, it could have been a high end ultra portable laptop but in this age of netbook the price is around $775.
The Gateway EC19C-A52C/S laptop has Windows 7 Home Premium operating system, 1.3 mega pixel webcam, Wi-Fi facility, card reader and the design looks beautiful. It is supposed to be good for the environment or it is environment friendly.
Gateway has claimed in its website that its display is of very good technology.
I also noticed that the laptop has to 2 GB DDR3 RAM and its weight is only 1.35 kg. So, you can carry it almost everywhere. Hard drive is 300 GB SATA. There are three USB 2.0 ports and the battery will run around 6 hours.
So, if you want a powerful laptop in Japan then you can take a look at it. I just felt that Gateway should have increased battery power to like 8 hours. Of course, making powerful laptop work for 8 hours without battery charge is not that easy. Most probably, within 2 years, we will start to see laptops working for minimum 12-15 hours without recharging the battery.
