I do not need to tell you how great the iPad is and how good it would sell this Christmas and how you and your family are looking forward to buy one. Say, you got your favorite iPad but then comes the question of apps. The Apple App store has hundreds and thousands of apps and finding the right kind of apps would take a lot of time.   1. Scrabble: You would have to shell out $10 but it is all worthed. Even Oprah enjoys playing scrabble on her iPad.
  2. Catan: This is a popular board game more or less similar to Facebook’s Farmville. Here you would have to build civilizations in the island of Catan.
  3. Lorax: iPad is used as an ebook reader. It is a story that teaches children the value of the environment.

  6. VLC: It is one of the my most favorite multimedia app and now it has come to iPad. The app was released on iPad in September 2010.
  7. Dinosaurs: This app is created by American Museum of Natural History and it is a great way to teach your kids about dinosaurs.
  8. Park Math: Want to teach your little children maths? Then go for this app.
  9. Chimes: It is a musical game app created for young children.
  10. Peekaboo Barn: Another interesting children’s app. It would help you to learn your kids about names of different animals and have fun at the same time.
  11. Epicurious: Winner of the Best Mobile Application of 2009 by American Society of Magazine Editors, Epicurious comes with a collection of great recipes that you would like to cook for your family and friends.
