Price of Dell Adamo has been slashed one more. This time, Dell is offering its Adamo laptop for $799. In December 2010, the price was reduced to $899.
The Dell Adamo measures 13.03'' x 0.65'' x 9.5'' and weighs 3.97 lb. The laptop has 13.4-inch HD (720p) WLED display with a 1366x768 resolution. It has full-size keyboard with backlighting and scalloped and metallic key cap.
It is now being offered with 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 processor with 800MHz FSB and 3MB cache and 2GB DDR3 SDRAM at 800MHz instead of the earlier 2.1GHz Core 2 Duo SL9600 processor and 4GB DDR3-800 RAM.
It has 128GB SSD, 1.3 megapixel webcam, 256MB Intel GS45 Graphics Media Accelerator, and 6-cell Lit-Ion battery.
Wireless options include Intel 5300 WLAN 802.11n (3x3) mini card, Dell Wireless 5530 HSPA mini card for AT&T, Dell Wireless 370 Bluetooth Module (2.1+EDR).
The laptop comes with pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit OS.
The Dell Adamo laptop was introduced at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show and was created to compete with Apple MacBook laptops.
